  • History of the Jinrai House
The Jinrai House has been established over a few hundred years ago by the original Jinrai Family. The desert was initially an uninhabitable place, and as a result, the Equestrians had not really penetrated deep into the sandy wasteland. A major earthquake sparked a large cascade in the river systems, allowing life to once come back to a part of the large desert. Explorers, claiming to be blessed by Calroc and LightMachine (though not traveling together.),travelled through the desert, but many fell due to its harsh conditions. The Jinrai Family was the first to discover the jungle at the end of the peninsula, and establish a small settlement with a map to get there. Ever since then, they’ve established their own country.
  • Country Matters
The country of Xandran runs on a appointed-lord system. Citizens of each of the cities and towns vote on a noble to become the Lord of the town for four years. At the end of each of the years in that four years, the Intra-Country Reviewer comes around to give the city/town a grade for their performance. If the grade is failing for two consecutive years, or at the end of the fourth year is a failing grade, the Lord of that city is publicly executed, and their family is set with heavy fines to pull them out of noble-hood.
Judicially, the Lord of each of the cities obtains a list of the convicts/criminals/suspects in the city, and the Judiciary Enforcer comes by four to five times a year to review each case. The verdicts are usually simple: either completely let go, the amputation of a fitting body part, or a death sentence. The Judiciary Manager instructs the Enforcer on where to go in each city/town, and to ensure the Judiciary Enforcer is doing his job.
Xandran’s military system is a mercenary-based system. People are allowed to join the military in exchange for money, but they are warned that by joining, they do have a chance to die. Usually the military goes through extensive survivalist training, and also goes through a lot of smaller skirmishes which are lethal. However, the military receives annual benefits and such, and are generally taken care of.
Xandran’s economic system is largely based off of trading gems, minerals, and rare herbs/plants that grow in the country. Religiously, they are generally a Lightmachine and Calrocian country, but they do not choose one side or the other.
